Yokto takes your privacy very seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our privacy policy.

What Information We Collect

To create an account and build a video channel, you need to submit a valid email address and create a password. We will use your email address to communicate with you about your account. We will also use it to communicate with you about the Yokto service, in general.

Yokto collects information about your users’ clicks and interactions, this information may be shared with third-party and trusted partners.

Yokto may also gather anonymous information such as browser information. We track that information so that we can understand how Yokto is being used and ultimately how we can improve user experience.

Yokto may use this information for the following general purposes: to customise the content you see, fulfill your requests, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.

Any contact with our customer service team may be recorded to help us provide better service.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Yokto will never rent, sell, or share your email, physical address or other personal information to a third party, except in the following circumstances:

• We may share your email and/or physical address with our trusted third-party partners for the purpose of providing and operating the Yokto service. We require that these parties agree to process such information based on our instructions and in compliance with this Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
• We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;
• We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Yokto's Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.
• If Yokto becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of its assets, we will provide notice before personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We may send you regular email updates regarding new features that may be of interest to you.

You may use Yokto to invite others to view your video channel. Recipients, email addresses and contact details will be subject to the same privacy policy set out herein.

In the case of Free or Pay As You Go accounts, you can not control who accesses your video channel via Yokto through the Yokto service itself. We provide open access to all of our registered players and sites. Enterprise customers may wish to contact us regarding bespoke implementations should they require restricted access to their channel and content.

Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences

You can change your Yokto account settings, including your profile information, at any time in the Account section.

You can edit the Player design, content and playlist(s) at any time.

Confidentiality and Security

We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.
