Ross Alderson

Ross has been involved in IT and marketing for more than 20 years. He built the UK’s largest specialist IT advertising agency, pioneered direct sales TV with Granada Television and won a number of national advertising awards.
In 1994 he founded one of the UK's premier web development agencies, completing the UK's first secure online transaction and pioneering online shopping technologies. The business worked with many of UK's FTSE 100 companies, was invited to become part of the M&C Saatchi Village of Companies, and was sold to SCH in 2001.
Ross was part of the original team that created TheRegister.co.uk and has worked with many technology startups. Yokto is very close to Ross' heart and represents the fruition of ideas that he has been working on for more than a decade.
Oojal Jhutti
Chief Technology Evangelist
Ooj has been involved in the world of business and commerce from an early age, having worked with a number of start-ups and developed his own successful design and print brokerage. He is fluent in the complete Adobe suite with extensive experience in social and multimedia technologies. He is responsible for Business Development and Marketing for Yokto.
With a taste for the finer things in life, Ooj is always the best-dressed person in the office. Not just a pretty face, he is currently building his own house.
James Beaumont
Director of Delivery and Operations
James has been working in the IT industry for 15 years focussing on Operations and Support. He has specialised in designing and maintaining data centres, and creating delivery systems for many organisations for VC backed start-ups to global telcos.
At Yokto James is responsible for the specialised design, build and maintenance of our cloud-based high volume, resilient, global platform.
Jonathan Anthony
Lead Developer
Jon has a keen eye for recognising and realising potential in existing and new technologies while retaining a realistic and pragmatic attitude to all projects. With over 10 years industry experience Jon is a specialist in developing API’s and social networking applications. He is also highly experienced in Systems architecture and skilled using Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Oracle, XHTML and CSS.
He is interested in LBS (Location based services) and is experienced with dealing with international clients. Outside work, he enjoys driving, biking and Motorsports in general.
Oli Cannings
Developer
Oli spent several years as a freelance Flash game developer and was responsible for the creation the high traffic humour website lolcats.com
He is fluent in all aspects of rich media application and game development (ActionScript 3.0, Flex, Java, C# and PHP). In his spare time, Oli loves real-time image processing and puppies.
Gary Rennie
Developer
Gary is experienced in the development of several API's, including ones for Twitter, Facebook and Flickr. He developed GenericBirthdayMessage – ‘The Facebook app that remembers your friend’s birthdays so that you don't have to’ and Gazlery – a JQuery image gallery plugin. He is fluent in several programming languages; JQuery, PHP, CakePHP and other PHP frameworks, Ruby on Rails, MongoDB, General Linux Hacking, RESTful API's and PubNub.
Gary is addicted to learning and ensures that he is up to date with the latest advancements in the field. His true goal in life is to build a ridiculously high reputation on Stack Overflow and become a Guitar Hero legend.
